Children of keyworkers can attend school but only if absolutely necessary (if their parents need to work to support the fight against Covid-19 and there is nobody else to look after them). The safest place for all children is at home. Children with an ECHP and vulnerable children can also attend school. Parents who are keyworkers may need to show evidence of their job and we are under obligation to send home any child who should not be in school, in order to support social distancing. All students have been provided with online work which can be accessed from our school closure website on any device. Any problems with passwords / access should be reported to our IT Helpdesk.

Free school meal vouchers

The government has launched a free school meal voucher scheme. We will be emailing eligible parents as soon as we are given full details.

Greenford High School will be closed during the Easter holidays

Due to large-scale heating and engineering works, Greenford High School is not able to open over the Easter holidays (6th-17th April). The safest place for your child remains at home. If you are a keyworker and you need your child to attend a school setting so that you are able to go to work and there is no-one else at home to look after them, then there are other settings that your child can attend. This also applies if your child has an EHCP or Social Worker. You can find out where these settings are at:

Greenford High School will re-open for the children of keyworkers only and for children with an EHCP or Social Worker after the Easter holidays. All other students must stay at home. We will update you as and when we receive further information from the government.
