Very cold weather ahead - some useful tips and procedures
With very low temperatures forecast over the next few days, a reminder of some useful tips to prepare your child for their school day.
Please ensure that they:
- Take care in case of ice on the way to school
- Allow longer for their journey times to cater for de-icing of cars
- Wear shoes with a good grip
- Wrap up warmly - good coats, gloves, scarves, hats and thick socks
- Label their scarves, gloves etc. to avoid losing them
In the event of snow, please assume that we are open but check on the school website for updates.
