Greenford celebrates A Level and BTEC results

Greenford High School is thrilled to report an outstanding set of A level and BTEC results.

A fantastic 26% of all grades were at A/A* with 50% at A*- B. Twenty students achieved all three grades at A*- A and almost 20% of the cohort achieved at least two grade A/A* results. Almost three quarters of grades were at Grade A*- C. This is an excellent achievement and we are extremely proud of the hard work our students and staff put in to achieve these outstanding results. In BTEC, students have also achieved superb results with almost 70% achieving Distinction+ and over 90% achieving a Merit or higher.

Whilst all of our students have done exceptionally well, there have been some notable achievements with three students securing places at Oxbridge: Lauren-Ava Carey and Tejuspreet Ubhi will be studying at Oxford University (Ancient and Modern History and Biochemistry respectively) whilst Meiya Ooi will be studying Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University. Salah Altaleb, having achieved 3 A*s, will be going off to study at the world-renowned California Institute of Technology.

Bavneet Sehra, Karan Brar and Riya Maugi all achieved a perfect 3 A*s. Bavneet will be studying Engineering at Imperial; Karan, Computer Science at King’s and Riya, Economics at UCL.
