Greenford celebrates GCSE results

Greenford High School is thrilled to report another excellent set of GCSE results

GCSE results at Greenford had just under 30% of entries being graded 9-7, with over 50 students achieving grades 9-7 across seven or more of their subjects, which is an outstanding achievement for them as individuals as well as the school.

In both English and Maths we achieved 31% and 35% grades 9-7, respectively. We were also particularly delighted with the performances in Biology, Chemistry and Physics where the top grades of 9-7 were achieved by almost half of all of the students who studied for those subjects. Outstanding results were achieved in Further Maths, where 76% of all the results were awarded at grades 9-7. We are delighted that almost 80% of students achieved key passes in both English and Maths, enabling students to move onto excellent Post 16 courses of their choice.

Whilst all of our students have done exceptionally well, there are some stand out achievements that deserve a special mention. Our top performer is Vishani Rajasegaram who achieved grade 9s in all of her 10 subjects, an outstanding achievement! The following students achieved grades 9-7 across all 10 of their subjects, a truly excellent achievement: Kiran Bhachu; Yaameen Githroo; Gagannit Kaur; Kareem Marey; Rakshiha Mohan; Simona Sharma; Tanvi Sharma and Mudaser Yousufy.

Headteacher Mia Pye said “I am incredibly proud of all of our students who have achieved so fantastically well this year. We look forward to welcoming the majority of our students who will be returning to our Post 16 Centre in September  and we wish all the best to those who are moving on elsewhere.”
